First of all the word rapture is not in the scriptures. Yes, there is No such word. According to wikipedia....."Rapture" is derived from Middle French rapture, via the Medieval Latin raptura ("seizure, rape, kidnapping"), which derives from the Latin raptus ("a carrying off"). Go read the entire article and get educated.

Did the word rapture ever come out of the mouth of Jesus? No. Never.

So who came up with this nonsense? Why are the sheeple so easily convinced to get caught away (pun intended) with such absurdity?

I like the Middle French use of the word rapture....Rape. Yes, the believers are being raped with bullshit!
