When I would go to bed at night I would watch it fly around my room .. but I can see it if I close my eyes, too. The yellow circle spins constantly, and the little speckles around it follow it like a tail kind of ..but, the yellow circle is not always there and just the little speckles fly around, and they are more dense than the colors around it. It has always been very comforting to watch. When the yellow circle appears, it flies through the center of the "tail" and comes to front, and the "tail" comes back together. There have been times when the yellow spinning circle flies directly (or feels like) it flies directly at my face really fast. It startles me when it does that. I stopped seeing it from about the age of 10 to 30 and didn't remember it. But, around 30 years old I started seeing it again, and instantly remembered it from childhood. I had a sense of seeing an old friend again. It doesn't respond to me, like if I ask it to fly here or there .. so it doesn't seem to interact with my thoughts or verbal communication. It just flies around. I can't force myself to see it when I am not seeing it, and I can't NOT see it when it is there. I'm just curious as to what it is or if anyone else sees stuff like this and/or has any ideas as to what it is. The picture is bigger than what I see, and I'm not really sure what is inside the yellow circle because it is always spinning, but it seems like something is inside. It has been suggested it is a "guide." However, as I said, it doesn't respond to my questions or if I ask it to do anything. It does seem to interact with me infrequently when it flies directly at me (this has only happened twice that I can remember). I have been seeing it again since I was around 30 .I'm 46 now. At the time I started seeing it again, I was having what I thought might be psychic visions. I thought "psychic visions" because a few of the things I saw actually happened (and many did not). But, that is not something that happens anymore, but I still see this thing. I'm really curious as to what this is -- so, if anyone sees something similar, or knowledge of what it is, I'd really appreciate your input. Thanks!
Interesting visual experiences. . . .the closest thing I have experienced are floaters . . . which are just pieces of the eye lining which periodically fall off the wall of the eye as one ages. . . . Yours sound like an intelligent manifestation of some type. . . . if it doesn't frighten you it sounds like a loyal companion . . . best wishes . . did you give it a name?:coffee4:
I've just always called it "my swooshie thing." I was a kid when I first started seeing it. :) I've also wondered if it was just something my eyes do -- like floaters -- but, I have not been able to find any physiological comparisons for it.
I like the name Swooshie. . . . It has character. . . . :ohyeah: . . . No matter if physiological, psychological or a real life form . . . if it adds to your life . . . That is the important thing. . . . :coffee4:
I remember that!!!...I seen it as a child...I think I called mine the Swooshie thing also!...lol
Oh wow, that's awesome! What was your experience like? I'd love to hear about it! When I started seeing it again I wondered if it hadn't always been there, and I just forgot to look for it. Because now, the small speckles are almost always there, sometimes faint, sometimes vibrant. The yellow thing is not always there, but can also be very faint or very vibrant. Generally, I know the yellow thing is going to appear by how the speckles start moving and the vibrancy. When I was young, I thought of the yellow thing as the "mother" to the speckles. It still appears more dominant and serious, but comforting. I get feelings depending on how they are all moving. I never know if I just have an overactive imagination or .. :)
This my friend I call 'The Awakening'...Welcome too the club!
"Two universities in the United States currently have academic parapsychology laboratories. The Division of Perceptual Studies, a unit at the University of Virginia's Department of Psychiatric Medicine, studies the possibility of survival of consciousness after bodily death, near-death experiences, and out-of-body experiences.[39] The University of Arizona's Veritas Laboratory conducts laboratory investigations of mediums. Several private institutions, including the Institute of Noetic Sciences, conduct and promote parapsychological research.[38]"
