[quote:Anonymous Coward 17295651:MV8xODg3OTY5XzMxNTMxMzczXzRGQkQ1Qjg5] I've been asking the same question. I've been told that it's because most (american) people on GLP are republicans. I'm not really sure why a political party is so heavily wrapped up in racism and sexuality. Surely we can all agree that leaders ought to promote peace and concentrate more on education, health care, unemployment and eradicating poverty rather than inciting hatred. Sounds like repression, frustration and a lack of education and life experience to me. [/quote]

I started reading GLP about a month or so ago and instantly got hooked! But I have a question - what's with all the hateful, anti-gay posts?
As a gay man, I understand its awkward or even offensive to "shove my gayness in everyone's face." So I don't. In fact, if we met in a public setting, I guarantee, you wouldn't think I was gay. I'm just trying to be happy - just like everyone else.
Am I the only one who feels this way??
