Do you think that it is a good and workable plan, or is it something that is in the just too hard basket? arkay
I just found the thread... digesting the info now... will comment later after I've had a good think about it. There, now you don't have to worry that no one cares.
Hi Arkay, :hi: I too have just found this thread, another truely worthwhile topic that is affecting real people everyday. I think the email from Timothy is really good and what is needed, different areas and different people have different needs and wants that need to be sorted, what works for one group of people is not going to work for others. I too need some time to look into and research some things, I am pretty AWARE of quite alot as you know but even I have learnt something new from this thread that I really need to spend some time researching. RE: the carbon tax, hubby & I are really expecting the worst from this, elect bill for last qtr was over $800, we have a small 3bed highset, 12mths ago we were in a huge, seriously HUGE 4bed brick with 3 reversecycle a/c and our elect was HALF of what we pay now!!!! * * You've made me a very busy lady Arkay, bare with me whilst I catch up on everything. :hf:
Hehe..sorry it has never been my intention to occupy so mush of your time. But I cant help myself, when something really important comes along, I have to have my say...I guess youve noticed that! As far as your power bills go, have a bit of a look at some of the earlier posts to see what Ive been saying about pensioners and low income people here in Aust. And we are getting the same bills too. I have and can back up every word I have put to print on those aspects. This country is really going down the sewerage system and our pollies are just the lubricating the tubes. But thanks for your interest. We will engage in further conversation soon, and I am really looking forward to that opportunity. As a side note, Im a little put out that you wouldnt let me build you that offer I made a while ago. For me, it would have been a gift that I would have known that would have been appreciated, an that wouldve given me a huge kick. But you ...independant...person...went your way, and that too is respected. Its just a great thing to have you back by my side, I cant explain it but there is a connection and Im sure that you feel it too. So stay well and we will continue to work together as previously...well I hope so anyway. cheers arkay
you do realize that Tony wanted a carbon tax back in 2005. you're stupid
For those Australians who are against the rediculous carbon tax that we were promised would never be introduced by our Prime Minister, and is leaving ordinary Australians struggling to pay their bills.
And pensioners, eating just toast or pies and sitting in the dark or lying in bed all day, as the only way to stay warm.
This new web site might be an excellent way to prevent it.
