Original Message I was happily snoozing when I woke up to a terrific ringing in my right ear - it hasn't stopped yet. Sounds kind of like a carrier wave. As I lay in bed trying to figure out this sound, I was also thinking woozily about the best place to be in case of an earthquake - duck into the doorway of the closet? Run into the parking lot? I'm outside PDX and this is freaking weird. The other night I had a dream - just a fragment - about San Francisco. I've never had this happen before.
