[quote:HuffyCantankerous:MV8xOTA0ODg3XzMxODQ5OTk2Xzg3QkIxRUI1] Don't forget the jobless claims spiked to 386,000 yesterday. And these are from people who JUST lost their jobs.... I am beginning to think they are trying to weed out the people who abuse their EBT. I get $200 a month in food stamps. Go ahead and hate me for it. I live in a house with nine other people. Yearly income from everyone here is over $120,000 yet the state still says I can have food stamps. Look at it this way. The taxes this family pays in being returned in the form of food stamps. BIG Y super market. Credit/Debt and EBT were down. They were making people fill out slips with your CC# on it, address, DOB, SS# in order to make a purchase. In Connecticut. So it's safe to say this is happening country wide.
