[quote:Anonymous Coward 22923818:MV8xOTA2NDc3XzMzMTQ4NjcyX0VCOEI5Qjk3] Same thing tonight 1:40AM 8/31.. first time I've heard them.. but came across this forum. Very strange. Became so loud just now it was almost frightening. Very strange how quickly the noise disappears. Interesting. [/quote]

I woke up in the middle of the night and heard more noise than the white noise from my fan that I always keep going. I turned the fan off and listened. I think it happened about three times and lasted for about a minute each. I wondered if I should hit the deck because a tornado was about to hit. I turned on Bay News 9 to see if there was any report about loud rumbling noises in the sky (tornadoes, jets flying where they shouldn't, etc.) It wasn't raining but rain was predicted. This morning I checked to see if I could find anything on the internet--but nothing. I don't get that. I couldn't have been the only person to hear it.
