[quote:Anonymous Coward 18583067:MV8xOTA4Mjg1XzMxOTE1NzEzXzg4NDJGRjI=] lol those pics are mild compared to what i witnessed in 2005!! Yes - i saw about 70% gay men in leathers...moustaches and sunglasses...they all looked related i swear. I was purely an observer...but wish it was possible to 'unsee' stuff.. I walked away with the impression that if someone is told 'they can' then they will do it...in public...for all to see...because?... They're attention whores. Pure and simple. Each and every pound of fatty flesh i witnessed get flogged...scarred...spanked...fucked...were ugly, unattractice...plain-looking.. Attention whores who get people looking at them for the 'shock factor'.. Makes them feel special for a day... Very sad. Who's ya daddy now eh?! hahahaaa....Only in California... [/quote]

There can be no doubt the gay community very much wants gay marriage legalized in order to help "legitimize" homosexuality and make it culturally acceptable.
But there is a sordid underbelly of homosexuality that the gay community knows would produce revulsion in the overwhelming majority of people, were it widely known.
An explicit example of this is the Folsom Street Fair, an annual event in San Francisco occuring at the end of summer.
Courageous journalists such as Michelle Malkin and photo essayist "Zombietime" have received vitriolic criticism for simply exposing the reality of the Folsom Street Fair.
Here is Malkin's original article:

And here are Zombietime's photos and commentary -- please be advised that the photos are EXTREMELY graphic:
