I cannot get turned down now because of cancer I had a few years back. Also, I am paying an crazy amount out of pocket because I am self-employed...and the previous diagnosis...just major medical so I have to pay all my doc bills anyway. This would save me TONS of money and will never have to deal with rejection because of my previous illness will be nice. Just because you are hell bent on hating Obama...don't pretend that this is not a GOOD THING for poor, working poor, middle class and those with pre-existing conditions! Gawd. Wake up. I, for one, will enjoy not having the insurance companies rape me with my clothes on.
Well good for you asshole, but I AM the working poor and this is going to put my family in the fucking poorhouse!! We already CAN'T AFFORD insurance, and don't qualify for Medicaid because we are BARELY above the cutoff!!...NOW we will have to shell out an additional 2000 a year that we already CAN'T AFFORD!!!! My newborn baby will SUFFER because of this, because that is now money that is going to the GOVERNMENT rather than other household expenses. It has NOTHING to do with hating Obama, you stupid fucktard. But I'm glad YOU are going to be better off. Most of us DON'T have pre-existing conditions!!! They should just include people with pre-existing conditions into Medicaid!! Rather than make the rest of us pay a TAX!
Do you work at McDonalds? Or do you have over the top accommodation in living that it cost's you a monthly leg and arm? Get rid of your netflix, get rid of your 1000 TV channel line up, get rid of your xm radio for your car. Hell, get rid of your car and get one that's 20 years old and your insurance will be almost non existent due to it being a "classic" no matter the make or model. I see this crap everyday. It's never the persons fault right? Let me know when you been on the streets for years without nothing but a coffee can and 1 daily packet of ramen noodles.
No, my husband works a job that does NOT have benefits, so NONE of us have coverage, but we make BARELY enough to just NOT QUALIFY for government benefits. We DON'T have a fucking TV. And we SHARE one car for the whole family. This means that my husband uses the car to go to work, except on days that I have to take our newborn to doctors appointments, then I take him to work and drop him off. Don't fucking lecture me on household luxuries. We can barely afford our monthly bills, which are as follows: RENT, UTILITIES, CAR INSURANCE, MEDICAL BILLS. The only fucking "luxury" we have is our phone bill and internet. If we were any poorer, we actually WOULD be able to get benefits from the government!! As of now...we are going to have to shell out MORE to the government when we are barely making ends meet. So fuck off.
You need to drop your current medical and opt into a program that does a community paid benefit. Meaning people who pay out of pocket and not paid for by taxes. A single fee everyone has to pay, regardless if it cost that much to be told if you have the flu or not, any extra $$ from the previous person gets moved to the next person.
Not sure what you're not getting here...we don't HAVE current medical. That's the point. The reason we don't is because we can't afford it. And now we will have to pay this additional monthly tax.
Thank you for playing into my make believe story. Now people know why they should be pissed off instead of being pissed off because everyone else is. People without medical still have to pay the taxes for it, which can be more then what they pay for their own medical if they have it.:hiding:
