Original Message As a Brit, I've always admired the ability of the Americans to stand up on their own two feet, self-determination and ability to be resourceful for their own benefit.

If I could move to the US tomorrow, I would, because I know that if you're willing to put the hard work in, you'll get rewarded for it and the respect of your peers. Not like in the UK where you just get exploited :(

Now, we're told that the US is trillions and trillions in debt, and cut backs have to made etc. Why don't they just tell their debtors to go stick it, and just become self-sufficient? Outlaw the Republicans and Democrats - only independent candidates are allowed to stand for election, so they truly represent the people who elect them, and not the party whip.

Kick the bankers out, bring all troops home to guard the borders etc. There's more than enough to land to grow all your own food, loads of mineral and metal resources etc etc. Even more so if they buddied up with Canada.

This way, the US would become truly independent of all the bankers and get back to adhering to the Constitution on which the true nation is built.

Is this possible? Is there the will to do this?
