My father was a 32nd Deg Scottish Rite Master Mason. This is how I became involved in the Free Masons.
I was Initiated (1st Deg), Passed (2nd Deg) and Raised (3rd Deg) in the Masonic Blue Lodge roughly all within 6 months time between 1984-85. The catechisms for each degree were very simple for me and my coach was superb in his knowledge of the degree work.
Within a year of my 3rd Deg, I then petitioned and recieved the 32nd Degree of the Scottish Rite body in Wilmington, NC USA.
Upon recieving my 32nd Deg I recieved a book from the Scottish Rite body entitled: Morals and Dogma written by Albert Pike. I did not read this book right away and placed it up upon a shelf where it collected dust for many years.
While it was collecting dust on a shelf I made myself usefull in the Blue Lodge by first attending every meeting and advancing through the chairs. My first elected post was Junior Deacon where I sat for a year, then skipped Senior Deacon and was elected straight to Junior Warden in the South where I observed the labor of the lodge. Then one year later elected to Senior Warden and thusly culminating the following year in the Worshipful Masters' chair in the east. I was one of the youngest Master Masons to hold this position in the history of our lodge. After serving as Master, I then was elected as Secretary of the lodge where I communicated weekly with the Grand Lodge and became very proficient in our by-laws and protocols of Free Masonry.
This is where I started to question the integrity of the Free masons. Some of the actions being performed in the lodge were not following the protocols of the order. Things didn't seem just right. I felt a heavy burden on my conscience. The more I researched, the more I found myself involved with something I felt uncomforatble with.
I eventually left my lodge in the early 2000 range and started my own research into it's practices and rituals. Then I pulled that book by Albert Pike off the shelf and started reading it.
My mouth flung open with disgust as I read the pages. It was then that I realized that this is NOT what I thought Free Masonry was. Nor was it what I was led to believe. So I started studying other books and documentaries online concerning Free Masonry.
And thus, since then I have realized that Free Masonry is built solely on Occult Practices of the Luciferian Doctrine just as Albert Pike had stated. Lucifer if the light bearer and all Free Masonry rituals are based around this concept.
I have since renounced Free Masonry and rescinded my obligations that I took upon an occult alter.
And since then my further research has taught me that basically ALL organized religions are based upon the very same Occult practices that Free Masonry is based upon. It does not matter if you are Christian, Muslim, Jewish, Catholic or any other. It ALL stems from Ancient Paganism and the worship of Lucifer.
I have relayed my research to my father, whom disbelieves me and refuses to demit from his lodge or the Scottish Rite. So I have left his good graces and that of the lodge and the Scottish Rite.
Now I am in a state of flux where I can't find the true creator due to the paganistic organized religions ALL adhere to the same deity whether secretly or openly admitted.
So therefore I implore you to put away your Bible, your Qur'an and your Jewish Holy Writtings as heresy.
I have come to the conclusion that I alone must seek God on my own terms without the aid of those who purposely lead me back into the occult by one shape or another.
I suggest this to you, seek on your own and find God in your heart. His distractions are found everywhere.
I will answer your questions at this time. I have a few hours to spare.
