My cat and I were hanging out on the lounge, just relaxing. I was reading a book when suddenly she gave this strange miaow. I looked at her and she was sort of frozen, staring at a spot in the room. She looked terrified. I could see her heart was racing.
I got up and had a look around. Nothing. I soothed her but she did not relax. I started to worry that something was terribly wrong & rang the vet. It was late at night so the vet was closed. I wrote down the emergency after-hours number. All this took about five minutes. I was worried the cat was dying. Suddenly she was OK. I gave her some milk which she drank all of....
Any ideas? She had a full check-up a couple of months ago (bloodwork, teeth cleaned etc) & was fine.
