i agree with u to a point. i bet your country outrates us in education, protection, etc. i have heard of countries where the % of taxes was extremely higher than the USA. however ,they  DID NOT have the level of corruption and greed. they had servicesmore than us also.their prices were not out of control either. so yes if things worked the right way  AND it is sustainable,and the $$ isn't feeding top officials pockets or union exec's pockets,then mayb it wouldb different.

Original Message [link to www.phillynews...] All city employees forced to take a drastic wage cut to minimum wage. Now at poverty level, firefighters, cops, ect. now qualify for food stamps. Also, 2 more cities in Ca. are also broke.
