I have to write this quickly as I'm on my way out, and will check in on the thread later, but about at about 5:25pm I went out on my balcony to get some fresh air while getting ready to go out. It's humid here, and when it's hot I don't usually notice contrails (or "chemtrails"), but this one really got my eye.
It came up out of south of where I am (facing Hollywood Blvd / Sunset / Melrose, etc) and went up at a side vertical, which is what I thought was weird.
It must have reached it's altitude, so it continued across the sky heading north (?), like over West Hollywood towards the Hills. It went out of my sight as it passed the building I'm in.
It appeared to be a plane, so that's not unusual, except that it wasn't headed from or towards LAX. It wasn't a helicopter.
It's the way it come up, appearing behind the 2 story building across the street and continuing up, that's weird.
I did video it, but can't up0load it since I'm heading out, plus I dont' know if the vid will be any good. If it is, I'll upload it later.
For now, just want to know if anyone knows what it was. Military? Movie?
