Original Message I recited the Pledge today, and the entire time found myself thinking none of it was true. Not one word of it is true any longer. It made me extremely sad.

I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all

The true version would have read:

I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United Socialist States of America, and to the Republic for which is dead, one Nation without God, divisible, with liberty and justice for none.
