Original Message The Obama campaign has been relentless in its efforts to get Mitt Romney to release additional tax returns and now it seems as though Ron Paul is promulgating the same message---which can only help the Obama campaign.

Texas Rep. Ron Paul said Tuesday that Mitt Romney should release more of his tax returns, adding to the pressure on the GOP nominee to share personal financial information with the public.

“Politically, I think that would help him,” the Republican congressman and former presidential candidate said in an interview with POLITICO. “In the scheme of things politically, you know, it looks like releasing tax returns is what the people want.” [link to www.politico.com]

If Ron Paul is so concerned about candidates disclosing their personal information, why is he not calling for Obama to release his transcripts?
