This Trop depression may not fully develop, but the fact that it has begun to form this far north is odd. We had a full out hurricane form a bit further north back in late May-early June.

These storms always form in the warm southern waters. Below Cuba or in the Gulf...even off the Coast of Africa, but not the North Atlantic.

I was at a beautiful Nova Scotia beach last weekend. Typically the water is quite cold, and it will take some time to get into it.

The water was quite warm. I walked right in and went swimming for half of the day with my family.

Whats going on here?
