Hi, as many of you know I do what are now called "prepper" videos. I do however not consider myself a prepper. That term is a media term meant to send people like me into the fringe.
I am simply a guy with a young family. With the world the way it is, the poison in our food, the evil of government we thought it would be a good idea to depend on ourselves.
I do not see dates, or panic everytime the Dow goes down, I just slow and steady become more self sufficient.
So how are you doing?
Are you preparing for an "event" or jsut trying to get off the grid? By sharing your story, no details if you are worried, you might inspire others to prepare.
So here are some things that I have done.
1)Moved from Southern CA 6 years ago.
2)Planted big garden
3)Bought guns, ammo, parts, mags
4)Store water and rain catch system
5)Got to know my neighbors!
6)Raise chickens for eggs, just killed a rooster (first time killing anything)
7)Pressure and water bath preserve garden
8)dehydrate garden
9)Became a paramedic
10)became a firefighter
11)train with above skills
So how are you guys doing?
