Original Message I am not gay. I truly do not understand why gays are hated. The way I look at it is; Yes, being gay is a sin, but we are all sinners. I feel sorry for the gay people, because they wear their sin on their sleeve, we can hide ours. Jesus said to love my neighbor as I love myself. So, if my neighbor is gay, am I not to love them? Am I to put hate into my heart? Am I to judge their sin, while I hide my own? All this hatred towards gay people have me really confused. You are to hate the sin, not the people. Please help me understand the hatred.
