The government wants your special needs child. Well, they don't really want the child, they just want to tell you, their parent, how to raise the child. If you have a child diagnosed with a disability you should be aware that the Senate is seeking to pass a law which gives the government the ability to override every decision of the parent of special needs children if they believe that its views are in "the best interest of the child."
