[quote:Anonymous Coward 1369739:MV8xOTUwODg4XzMyNjk3MDk2XzJFRDZCMjIz] [quote:JayJ:MV8xOTUwODg4X0YyMkJBNkND] Reports are coming out that July 2012 will go down as the Hottest month ever recorded since 1895 when record keeping began. Let's hope these heat records start start easing next year otherwise it will be another bad year for crops. It's amazing how high some of the temperatures have been in the U.S. The jet stream has been so far north this year that most of the tornadoes have been confined way north in the Canadian Prairies. Many U.S. storm chasers I've heard, have been heading into Canada to look for Tornadoes. Anyway, here is as article on the Warmest July recorded. http://news.blogs.cnn.com/2012/08/08/july-was-hottest-month-on-record-for-contiguous-u-s-noaa-says/?hpt=hp_t1 [/quote] sure as hell was here in Upstate New York. News people keep telling us some year was hotter, it keeps changing, but my parents are 78 and 84 and they have NEVER seen anything like what's happened this year. The lawns, the vegetation, the crops, and constant suffering for folks not accustomed to heat. I mean, we spend 6 months enduring winter and 6 months preparing for winter. Heat ain't on the list.
