Well the DHS placed a solicitation by way of the Transportation Safety Administration (TSA) for these products with a delivery date of August 31, 2012. For those of you in the know, these are the ingredients to build a makeshift bomb. However the project claims it is for “Canine Explosive Training Aids”. One wonders what they need with over half a ton of explosive nitrates. If someone else posted this so sory for the double post.
you dont need that kind rdx for testing, you can use nitro tablets from the pharmacy, pretty much the best and cheapest if what you want training nitrates. One could used old surplus ammo, which is available by the train car load, which is double based and includes a mix or cellulose nitrate, and nitro-g. amn nitr is the same, the cheap ag stuff is good enough for a dogs nose, for pennies a pound. No, this is a formulae that has another purpose. Especially the rdx, but even that is available for next to nothing from demil 50 incindiary projectiles which contain it and all you need is a few grams or each in a carrier of some sort, and at that rate, you get at least a million samples. which would do for, oh, 10 million dogs...
Thanks for the information.
NO SHIT ! sounds like someone knows their stfuff !!!
