Why do these so called "passionate" fans of the sport no precious little about its history? If they understood their history, they would understand why Americans (and other nations like Japan, South Korea, New Zealand etc) call it soccer.
Is it just another chance for Brits to take the mickey, as you might say, out on Americans?
