Off track on meningitis issue.  Bio components of treatment at Macondo 2 years ago appear to have spread into the greater hydrocarbon table. These bio components are part of what's causing pressure as decaying hydrocarbon vents/flashes off into gas.  With few avenues of escape the pressure has no choice but to build.

Notice all the vent wells and flares all of a sudden?
