Delegates from Nevada tried to nominate Mr. Paul from the floor, submitting petitions from their own state as well as Minnesota, Maine, Iowa, Oregon, Alaska and the Virgin Islands. That should have done the trick: Rules require signatures from just five states. But the party changed the rules on the spot. Henceforth, delegates must gather petitions from eight states.
That is CHEATING. Rules for conventions are set prior to the convention. That's the way they've always done it to avoid "cheating" at the next convention. Example, rules made in 2008 were for the 2012 convention. Today's rules would apply to the 2012 convention. This is the way it works.
However, today, Paul people followed the rules. They had their minimum of 5 states required to nominate from the floor. The GOP changed the rules midstream to require an 8 state minium. THAT IS CHEATING. ROMNEY'S NOMINATION IS BASED ON CHEATING.
They knew Paul could take it so they cheated. Just like that. On tv. In everyone's faces. All to nominate Romney so he can lose for Obama. All rigged.
I am disgusted. I will never, ever cast a vote for the GOP again. This should be a national embarrassment. Republicans all over should be appalled.
We can pin the news that Romney is the nominee. How about pinning how he CHEATED to be the nominee?
