Quit eating trans fat and diabetes will go away.
Stop spreading this bullshit. I'm transfat-free since 1999 and my diabete is still there.
Try Paleo diet. It has reversed diabetes type 2 in some people if they're not too advanced. They've done experiments to see what works best for people with diabetes type two. Scroll down for paleo studies (4 of them). http://wholehealthsource.blogspot.com/search/label/paleolithic%20diet
Thanks! Yes I'm already on a very low carb paleo diet. Along with intermitent fasting, it really helps me keep my blood sugar and insulin in check. It's not a cure though, still can't eat large amount of carbs or any break/pasta.
I know it's not a cure but pretty close. Just can't go back to old eating habits that got you in trouble in the first place. Reducing the amount of visceral fat (fat in the abdominal area) is crucial to lowering sugar blood level. If you can get it to the 80s level and stay there, you're much better off. Are you exercising at all? Maybe crossfit training with a group may help? I think it helps to be in a group to stay motivated to exercise rather than doing it alone if you prefer that way.
