No better place than their mecca right? See how they list "visitors welcome" on all their ward buildings, but those who are out of the cult who try to visit are immediately isolated/questioned and asked to leave. Work for the State of Utah and see how far you go if you do not have a good mission story. Can you say shunned? Talk with your mormon neighbors openly about things? Not if you are not in the cult. Can you say shunned? Stare in their blank eyes and watch the pinwheels of programming spin oh so rapidly. If you are an elitist with an agenda to enslave your underlings, mormons are there for you to do as you say. Do you want freedom, respect, dignity and truth for all? Then stay far away from Utah and the one true "so called" church. Romney elected? God save us all.
I am ex mormon, and I know what you're saying, but I have to say that the average mormon is pretty sincere about caring about God, family and people in general; of course there are exceptions. They really do mean well. But its the guys at the top that know and do some far out stuff.
every group or cult has a narcissist that clawed to the top to profit from it by any means necessary. It doesnt necessarily impeach the basic doctrine of the founder. Just so there is no mistake, the founder of christianity is christ, not some pope bishop preacher or monarch. There is no more proof he lived and died as written, than that alternative history any of you may beleive. The whole concern over religion is pointless when there is no discussion of oblablahs beliefs and concordance with the founder and his activities and personal example.
