[quote:Nicolemare:MV8xOTc1NzMxXzMzMTg4NzgyX0JBN0YxNzU1] [quote:wabishkaeyabe 22955351:MV8xOTc1NzMxXzMzMTgzMTUzX0FCNUFBMjNE] I had CP as a child and have never had shingles. Just saying. If I had not I wouold keep some Olive Leaf capsules, as well as Skullcap capsules, around at all times. These two herbs are said to surround viruses and expel them from the body. I can't speak to their affect on CP but flu viruses never see the light of day around my house because of these two herbs, even the mean ones like swine and bird flus. I often wonder whether some people who are resistant (as opposed to immune) are so because they ingest one or the other of these two, or maybe some variant of them. Olive oil is something of a powerful tonic all by itself and could be one of the reasons. I also had a Greek friend who claimed he would never have to worry about getting AIDS since he drank olive oil every day. Hope this helps. giigowabamin
Thanks for the info, I will definitly look into this some more! Also you said the word "resistant"! That is the word I was looking for instead of immune! :)
Both my brother and I, who are around the same age, have never contracted this virus. I remember when we were little we were purposley exposed to my neighbor kids who had them so we could "get it out of the way" so to speak. The mission was a complete FAIL!
From what I have heard over the years if you get it later in life it is ALOT worse to deal with and can possibly result in death! Does anyone else know anything about possibly being immune?
I do have a stong immune system due to the fact that I have copper based blood but not sure if that has anything to do with it... Hmmm...
