French police have just released the identity of the 'British' man driving the car where the family were shot in France.
I googled the man's name, Saad Al-Hilli, who was born in Iraq, and it turns out he runs an aerial surveillance business based in Wiltshire (where there's a huge military base) in the UK.
Police have said that the hit looked professional, 'like an assassination'. It was carried out with a semi-automatic. Doesn't sound like a straightforward car-jacking to me!
