Ive seen a documentary on a professor teaching his students about "forced labor" in Renania, havin lot of troubles accessing official docs of the period. Plus many parents retired their sons from the class when realized him was a liberal...I think u guys need to make peace with ur past, but if "u" still consider the "cospirators" were traitors,"u" as a social corpse have a long way to go [/quote] We arent able to talk openly about the holocaust, cause its forbidden by law in germany. I'm curious about the unique perspective regarding Hitler, WWII, and the Holocaust that only growing up in Germany can bring. I assume a lot of what is taught in schools about that time period is "politically correct", but I don't know. I'd like to hear some firsthand German people's accounts of what you're taught/told about it.
