Not like we couldn't see this coming and not like we haven't seen the same sort of thing happen at other times in history.
4 American diplomats dead in Libya, one was the US Ambassador.
In Egypt the American embassy stormed by an angry mob, American flags burned, etc etc etc...the "Religion of peace", "Such a great grand beautiful religion"...it's just a few radicals...Puke...how much more is it going to take before the American people realize that Islam is not just a religion. It's a way of life, it's a political ideological all encompassing deeply embedded machine and far more than just a "Religion".
It also happens to not only be completely exlcusionary of any other religion, it is openly hostile toward and ultimately seeks to destroy or conquor them, Islam does not tolerate anything BUT Islam, it doesn't even tolerate NO religion, there is nothing but Islam, or you are the enemy.
There are only different levels to which that is practiced. On the outskirts in the more moderate practicing, concepts such as Jihad are akin to exercises on paper....something to be thought about, but not acted on...as the Muslims become more "Orthadox" these teachings become matters of real life and death.
There are vast tomes written about this, there is no reason to cite thousands of sources, quote thousands of other writers or list the thousands of examples of violence, murder, extreme reactions and or the constant outrage and irrational acts of the Modern day Muslims and Islamic nations. There are enough examples where it is accepted as fact and is common knowledge to any reasonable and rational thinker. The rational episodes of Islam in general throughout the world have become the annecdotal ones, the irrational, violent and formenting of violence are the norm. You either accept that or you don't, but it does not change it. It truly doesn't even warrant debate any longer, Islam is a violent operating system that seeks to conquor and control, it is only a matter of what level the Muslim is pratcing it at as to what level of either the hypothetical running through real life Jihad, destroy, conquor violence there is.
The sooner this nation as well as all other non-Islamic nations realize or admit this the sooner us and the world as a whole will better equipted to deal with this very serious problem, and a very serious problem is what it is. No one really cares if people want to merely think they are gods themselves, the grand wazoos of the universe, or are created and descended from pumkin seeds...who cares...go ahead and believe anything you want no matter how silly or awesome, good or bad, right or wrong anyone else thinks about it....frankly I couldn't care less. It is when that belief in something, anything, becomes an operating system for governing not only the law of individuals, but entire nations that it MUST be dealt with on a different level, because in fact at that point, it exists on a different level.
We need to stop making excuses for them...oh well someone made a movie that called them Doodyheads...so that's why they flipped out and killed some Americans.....OMG it seems we set foot on their soil at the request of their govt!!!...well well, so THAT'S why they attacked us!...of course, totally understandable....WUT WUT WUT???...Someone made a cartoon that made fun of them flipping out so they fliped out?...well of course they did, that's OUR FAULT...of course it's OUR FAULT!....the rest of world doesn't subscribe to your laws...we have freedom of speech...and no one goes on a killing spree mob rule berserk out when someone makes Jesus out of piss or shit or burns bibles...people might not like it, but they don't kill anyone over it. That is how it works at the grownups table and if you cannot deal with that?...you aren't going to be allowed at the grownup table...tough shit if you don't like it, bratty kids never do...and if you scream, wail and throw shit over that?...you can sit at no table and be sent to your room...it only gets worse from there.
That childrens scenerio is translated to real world international acts of policy in the forms of sanctions, less or no trade, all the way up military action if heaven forbid that is required. The next time some armed mob approaches a US embassy they are met with a superior force...or pull the Embassy if we do not have the stomach to defend it for real. Most times by far that sort of last resort situation never has to happen, that is...when America is respected and seen as strong, yet fair. We aren't going to take any shit...don't start any, there won't be any, but if you do?....you are going to wish you never did in the end, which will be YOUR end, not ours.
THAT above is a very simplistic answer, but it's a start as far as a beginning of a mindset goes...a mindset that our current President has seemed to reject..he has more or less in nutshell publically stated that apparently we have the hurt the Muslims feelings again and that is the root cause of this latest mob riot and the murder of four US citizens. If you plug that into the childrens disipline problem scenerio it would equate to asking why little Johnny was so upset that he burned the house down and killed your daughter...is the reason really relevant? Unless your daughter was firing a flame thrower out a window at Johnny and he only repelled some of the fire in self defense and the house lit on fire in the course of that defense, then it really isn't...it doesn't matter if your Daughter made a meanie face at him or called him a dookie stain or if the daughter was there to tutor him in math and he hates math....his response was far and away outside of what could be considered a reasoned and rational response or reaction, or even that a response was deserved as many times not responding at all is really the "Adult" thing to do in the case of a taunt.
In any case you don't buy Johnny a lollipop and tell him to try and do better next time...you either throw his ass in jail or you execute him because he killed people...you solve the Johnny Jihad problem one way or the other and the solution isn't always going to one of understanding his butthurt "feelings" when he kills a little girl. It's also at this time that if there is any soul searching on a psychological level to be done you might just want to look into why Johnny wasn't concerned enough over what he might face as a result of him burning your daughter to death and why he wasn't afraid or concerned enough about his own fate, why he didn't have enough respect for life, limb, property and consiquence to not burn the house down and kill your daughter in the first place.
You also don't take the living remainder of your kids and runaway to go live in a boarded up house and live in fear hoping it never happens again....while simultaneously removing all the police and fireman from your city posting a few in your yard alone, open up all the jails in the city and hope that works out...which is exactly what I see so many of you doing when you say that we need to shun the world and bring all our troops home to protect the border. Sorry, but living in fear and isolation will not work for America. Not only is that something that Americans should never consider because we do NOT live in fear and isolation, it just will not work practically and logistically...just like the city run wild while you live in your boarded up house with a cop and a fireman parked on the front lawn will not work...soon there will be no water, no electricity, how will you get food?..what will happen when the gangs of released convicts organize and roll down your street and penetrate your defenses?...and do you really want to live in reduced conditions just so feel more secure for only a little while until that eventuality comes roaring down your road?....that is not the answer.
In fact there is NO easy answer. There are simplistic ways to illustrate the situation so that anyone can understand it, but what to do about it and how to deal with it?...that is a very complex and ever changing situation of international importance...the "Islam Problem"...and this may very well be one of if not THE most important long term issue that the entire world faces.
I know that trying to "Play nice", hand holding and even helping them has not worked, this is what Obama has done and it has brought us closer to full out theater war in the middle east which is currently in the process of virtually self destructing and eating it's own young. It was also extremely naive as well as foolish if he actually believed that course of action would actually do any good because it never has in the past. Whether you believe he is just epically naive or that he has a more nefarious agenda is cause for debate at least, but it is obvious now that his agenda has led to and fostered more violence and expansion of extremism, regardless.
We have been reactionary in military response, for lack of better terminology, killing them after they pull off some sort of attack over the years...Also hasn't worked very well although it engages our military on "their turf" so to speak, but where has that really gotten us?...not any real gains as far as long term results go...maybe it's disrupted some enclaves and had some effect of holding the tide at bay temporarily, but that is all it has done. It has also cost us a lot in the price of blood and money, have we really gotten a desirable value for the cost?....I don't think so...
Ignoring the problem has also not worked...the results of that were the Taliban taking over afghanistan and becoming a training ground for those who later committed the largest attack by modern Islam against the USA...at home...along with a hit parade of other violent and or oppressive acts of some of the most extreme behaviors the world has ever witnessed.
So if playing friend to them doesn't work, killing the ones that cross some line doesn't work, ignoring them doesn't work...what will?....
Because if nothing we are willing to try works?...we are only going to continue to face a growing, ever advancing and increasingly overtly violent psychopathic hoarde of Islamics that are governed and controled by not just a religion, but by a theocratic operating system of life and governance that knows no end other than total world domination. One that controls entire nation states as well as people...a lot of people...well over a billion to varying degrees.
As I watch the political pundits review the deaths of our Libyan diplomats and the assualt on our embassy in Egypt I have come to conclusion that we are sorrily prepared for dealing with this problem. In fact if anything we are currently making things worse. We are not dealing with the Islamic problem from a position of strength and that has not only never worked well for America in general, it's also never worked with or on the Islamics, at all...ever.
Eventually this juagernaught is going to meet the rest of the world head on, it will, because it is now and has been for a very long time been advancing toward a confrontation which it seems to desire. Since the rest of the world isn't on board with the program of being dominated in a global Islamic caliphate, one side or the other is going to be pushed back as the other resists...and on the scale of human kind that we are ALL involved in this, like it or not?....it could mean anything from several relatively large confrontations to an Armageddon world war....that is a very dark proposition if we allow it to progress that far....
Godspeed to all...I don't think it's too late to turn back....hope not anyway...but we are near, moving forward toward it and getting ever closer...
