[quote:Anonymous Coward 18113611:MV8xOTg5OTE0XzM0NTUwMzY2X0RDRDA2QTRF] if it was my first rifle/pistol i would for sure go with the 22lr you are going to need practice and when you are through practicing you will find that 999 times out of 1000 a .22lr will do the job well. A lot of zombie horde wankers here giving advice they fantasize they will be holed up in there suburban lot fighting of hordes of brainless zombies. the fact of the matter is if you allow yourself to get into a situation where a ak,ar or sks is needed then you have already fuked up big time. if it were me id get a combo gun single shot .22lr over 12 or 20 gauge buy a few inserts for the shotgun barrel to allow many common calibers and you are good to go. I'm leaning towards a Ruger mini-14 tactical, or a 10/22 rifle and a .22 pistol. Not confident about the stopping power of the .22, but my accuracy is pinpoint. What do my fellow gun enthusiasts recommend?
