Original Message It is my opinion that the ice melt in the arctic and maybe in the south pole is caused by shifting oceanic currents rather than surface air warming.

This in turn could be caused by the magnetic pole migration that most of us know about.

I posted a few links showing data and images like the magnetic pole migration ect.

But i don't have enough internet acces time for a torough search in the matter.

Anyway for those who can find articles about the transpolar drift and oceanic gyres near the poles please feel free to post them.
