Original Message And for those concerned, the Bald Cypress trees (Louisiana state Tree) at the site are not dying because of the sinkhole or drilling, but because they start shedding around this time of year and soon will all be reddish brown with no needles. Only moss remains through the winter, making them quite beautiful and dreary at the same time.
