Again, they DO mention them often...but not as "contrails" very often..but, as "high thin clouds". But, I HAVE seen them mentioned before...

The only reason weather men need mention clouds is because of rain...or overcast conditions. Why waste time discussing white streaks that don't relate to temperature or precipitation?!
