I don't know what the blue crab scarab means but when you look for similarities in the clues provided, the blue comes through also in the ET clue and elsewhere. As someone else said scarabs were highly valued adornments in the Egyptian culture.

I have read that ET's from the Andromeda galaxy have a bluish skin but I noticed in the movie and the picture provided that the ET's were more human looking than other ET's as described by those who have seen them.

These beings were tall & elogant looking so could they be humans from the future? Their eyes look totally different to those of humans which could mean that they see in different spectrums to what we Earth trapped humans see.

The symbol on his head seems to be the Earth and the moon. This could also be indicating something to do with the third eye and Pineal gland but there is another gland or structure that regulates our circadian rhthyms just above our optic chiasm. It could be referring to that.

Dream then provided the picture below linking Orion's Belt to the Pyramids. I have read that Cygnus is a better representation of an alignment but I don't know if this has any significance.

The hour glass seems to indicate the passing of time BUT could also be symbolizing time is running out when put with the other clues provided by OP.

The link to end of movie shot (below) shows the two children in a crop circle after they have been dropped off by the ETs. This is where they, with the rabbits, run to the Tree of life and in the background other space craft are taking off. This suggests that many young people and perhaps many animals were taken in pairs to the new world.

The fact that a very intelligent adult, (the father), was not allowed to go on the journey seems relevant also. Could it be that adults are too fixed in their ways to make the transition to the new beginning?

Not sure what the lighthouse means but it could be indicating a visitation by the Blue Star as in Hopi prophecy. Once again the blue theme seems to be coming through.

After I watched the video End of the Earth - Gamma Ray Burst I now question if the Crab nebula is 6300 - 6500 light years from Earth, whether gamma ray bursts from that Nebula could cause the havoc shown in the movie.

The people on the science documentary were talking about a gamma ray burst from 100 light years way not 6500.

The Fibonacci sequence in the shell and metatron's cube are all representative of sacred geometry which appears throughout nature and has been shown to indicate certain things in many crop circles.

Could it be that the alien figure was represented as this in the glyph because that is how we human's traditionally expect ETs to look like. If it had looked more like a human it may have had less effect.

The Donnie Darko movie seems to have no relevance (to me anyway, but I am dumb) other than the continuance of the blue theme and the fact that it has an end of time plot.
