Original Message as a condition of employment with the national government my employer requires "medical tests" that we must complete annually at a government sanctioned facility.

highlights among the "tests"

1.dental check:had a nurse with the gentleness of a coal miner poke and prod my teeth and gums with a wooden stick all the while lecturing me. no biggie
2.urine sample. no biggie
3.blood sample (three large vials). felt dizzy for a while
4.GASTRO-ENDOSCOPY...WHAT?!?!

the nurse said, "if you've never had an endoscopy it might hurt your throat a bit"

I am 100% healthy and fit. I don't need any tests and I certainly do not need an endoscopy.

before getting orally raped by the government, I told the nurse I refuse to have anything shoved down my throat.

The nurse was shocked by the non-compliance. She assured me that it won't hurt too much.

After almost losing my temper, she talked amongst her colleagues now all huddled around the desk, made several phone calls, and then "realized" that my health profile didn't warrant an endoscopy.

THIS IS SOUTH KOREA

I hope I still have my job tomorrow
