[quote:Top Hat:MV8xOTk5ODQ1XzMzNTk5MTM2XzQ3NDNCQzA1] [quote:Observer114:MV8xOTk5ODQ1XzMzNTk3NTk2XzVBN0E4QjYw] I wonder if this ties in to the Deepwater Horizon well that blew out in the Gulf south of there? Add hollowed out salt domes in with the fracking and such, and the deep high-pressure gas deposits that were disturbed in the Gulf region have found a way to the surface via the path of least resistance. Eh, that's my guess.
Very plausible theory.. which then might have triggered the Japanese Earthquake, resulting Tsunami, reactor meltdowns and free stuff to wash up on the beaches of the West Coast. I do see where you're going with this line of thought. Incredible.
Assumption Parish officials have been advised by DNR
[Louisiana Department of Natural Resources]
that their exploratory well observers have confirmed that brine cavern #3 has failed.
“The tool used to measure cavern depth bottomed out at approximately 4,000 feet –
a point estimated to be 1,300 feet higher than the floor had been measured prior to the cavern closure in 2011
."

Also, the Parish blog states the following:
It has come to our attention that Texas Brine’s press release was released to the media at 10:31 p.m. last night, prior to consulting with parish and state officials.
Parish officials are not in agreement with Texas Brine’s preliminary conclusion
that their well was damaged by “regional-scale seismic activity” (earthquakes).
Getting Juicy here, people!! Texas Brine may have made their press release late at night to prevent the officials from a.) fucking them over, b.) switching the story, c.) suppressing information, or d.) all of the above.
Official parish blog is HERE:

Seems like they're NOT happy about this info getting out..
