That was a speech therapy major talking about her friend with a speech impediment being injured from shrapnel from an exploding teargas grenade just before Holmes allegedly opened fire into THEATER 9.

So now you know why everyone was pushing the bullet-through-walls thing in theater 8. Not saying that didn't happen, but I am saying what we have here is an unexpected injury from something physically impossible with the lone gunman story.

Was it sabotage? Stupidity? Working theory is that they needed some reason to keep people from going in the lobby, of which it was testified that "police barricaded the lobby exit", and "people from our lobby were telling us not to go in the lobby". [link to www.youtube.com]
