In my mind, the Red Cross has been a farce long before Obama, while the Salvation Army has always been there when people needed their help.  One of my favorites, too.

I've also wondered about Bill Clinton & George Bush's joint appeal for aid to Haiti.  Don't remember if they were asking for the money to go to the Red Cross or somewhere else.

Anyway, my donations go to the Salvation Army because I am confident the dollars will be spent on the stated purpose.

Original Message For those wondering why Haiti is still in dire straits after so much money was donated to help the people have resulted in nothing accomplished this article will help explain the problems. Remember flapping lips Michelle Obama pleading for people to text donations for Haiti. If these donations were for Haiti then why is the lecherous UN gaining 10 percent $5.33 billion while the Haitian people are still living in tents.

What is the greedy shifty obama doing with the rest of the donation money and associated interest while the poor Haitians are suffering.

More than half of Haitian quake aid released

The United Nations Office of the Special Envoy for Haiti said Tuesday that more than half of the $5.33 billion pledged by donors to help the Caribbean nation rebuild after the 2010 earthquake has been released.

Another 10 per cent went toward grants that supported the UN, Inter-American Development Bank and World Bank. The rest went toward loans and budget support to the Haitian government.
