Original Message Much Frustration.

I bought a Samsung Blu-Ray player that has built-in wi-fi so that I can pull movies and tv shows off of my hard drive to watch on our bedroom tv.

On a good day, the player recognizes that there are shared files, and I can pick them. They will start to play, and will play for about 2 seconds, buffer, play 2 seconds more, buffer, etc.

I would gladly walk away and let the whole thing buffer to it's heart's content until It gets the half or the whole thing, but that's a no go too.

When I load the files on to the USB flash drive, what was good on the PC is bad on the BluRay. Audio de-syncs or becomes choppy.

-------------

I just want a set-top box that can find my files on my pc and play them, whatever the crap they may be. Is this such a difficult thing to do in 2012?
