No Jesus is the reason I have the bible and the Holy Spirit in me is the reason I have His word. The apostils was the first Christians and they were not Catholics.

Have you ever heard of the term history?
You should study the history surrounding the Bible it is fascinating.
Look up things like the unification of the church, how the Bible was originally assembled, What the crusades were, how the Protestant religions were started(you are a protestant even if you don't know it). Martin Luther, just look this stuff up it is fascinating and you might learn something about your religion.   
Saying that Jesus is why you have the Bible is like saying a screwdriver is why you have a popular mechanics magazine.
True if it wasn't for a screwdriver popular mechanics would be a lot different but all the work that goes into popular mechanics is why you have popular mechanics. The writers, the editors, the advertisers who sponsor the magazine, the printer that prints the magazine.
