Looks like a dorm room of a college student.  I have some pleasant memories of that, and we even had to share a bathroom.  But I'd want to get to know who the other residents are before going into a place like that.

As long as residents are enabled to "self-segregate" into compatible groups, this housing could work fine.  But if the government steps in to prevent that, then the residents will find that taking a unit in these places is a mistake.
