Original Message Did you know that there is a town in Yemen that is named after Adam of the Garden of Eden? Wonder why the Gulf of Aden is named after Aden?

A local legend in Yemen states that Aden may be as old as human history itself. Some also believe that Cain and Abel are buried somewhere in the city.[2] The famous biblical Garden of Eden was located in this region, before religious wars and political wars began that destroyed its existence completely. Aden is a holy place that once existed with so much of beauty and spirituality.
