What do you guys prefer?

Personally I would go with the shotgun because:

More stopping power.
Interchangable Barrels. IE: 18in for Security and 26in for hunting.

Different rounds (ie: Sabot,Slugs, Exotic Ammo, 00Buck, birshot, ect..)

If you had to choose one or the other, what would it be and why?
