Original Message Earlier today I found this very unique mushroom in my field. I have never seen one like this in SC. I typed in Orange Mushroom and it showed me a picture of the Caesar's Mushroom. Wikipedia says it has not been found in the US. It also is said to grow in oak woodlands. I had a strange feeling this mushroom was a new variety that has crossed countries. If it is the Caesar's Mushroom then what caused it to grow in SC?
