:bump:
What does it feel like to be an idiot? Without profit you don't have wages and salaries you moron!
Well...50% profit pays all that...500% profit is just obsurd.
Where are you getting those numbers? The CA governemnt gets $0.33 on the gallon. Pure profit! And the CA governemnt does absolutely NOTHING to explore for it, extract it, refine it, ship and distribute it. The average profit the actual gas company makes? Around $0.04 to $0.08 on the gallon. Who is gouging who here? Learn the truth before you make yourself look like an idiot.
First of all...you'e buying gas company issued statements on who gets what. The state is supposed to use that tax on roads, police, safety, etc. That's fine, that's where it should go (even though it probably doesn't which is the real problem). The gas company and the profit you've quoted is total fabrication. A gas station makes about that much...sometimes as high as 20 cents a gallon. However...the gas COMPANY, like Chevron, Mobile, etc., all posted profits in the 100's of billions. You're going to tell me that's not GOOD ENOUGH? Are you going to tell me that's not close to 500%? Here's the deal. The main people getting rich are two groups. The middle eastern families that own the oil and those people that own the gas companies. The families are eating gold they're so rich, and the gas company owners own extreme amounts of property and industry. So...you're okay with takin it up the ass so that some sultan can have gold thread sheets? YOU'RE THE IDIOT. You're okay with taking it up the ass so that a gas company exec can get a 1,000,000 bonus? YOU'RE THE IDIOT.
No, its not a fabrication. I don't see you railing against Big Milk or Big Water. Their profit margins make oil companies look like a bunch of pikers. Educate yourself instead of believing socialist propaganda.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA big milk? Are you even real?
Don't take my word for it. Look into it yourself. You will need to know what overhead is, and what a profit margin is to understand it. Better get a dictionary.
You're so funny! I love the fact that you try and do psyops on people but it's like playground level abilities. You're cute :)
Do you know what the profit margin is on a gallon of milk? Do you know what the profit margin is on a gallon of water? Compare that to the profit margin of a gallon of gas. I predict you will not answer my questions honestly because the truth conflicts with your world view. And i'm not just cute, i'm damned cute.
Profit margin for whom? Farmer makes about $1.00/gallon according to the people I know who run dairies and according to most market research. Now...different farmers have different qualities of milk and some may receive a little more or a little less. Since the average gallon of milk here is about $2.75 / gallon that leaves $1.75 per gallon. So...split that between the producer who pasteurizes/homogonizes and adds or removes products to the milk, the delivery company if separate, the wholesale marketer who buys large milk purchases and then sells to smaller stores, and to the actual stores who carry the milk for you to buy. That's not a lot of profit. I know from experience, a good milk producing cow costs about $3,500.00 a year to maintain. That doesn't include the costs it takes to run a dairy, pass inspections, pay for water, pay for cleaning, pay for milking machines, etc. In reality...nobody's making a lot of money here. Thanks for letting me prove that. Oh...and btw, if you're dumb enough to pay $4.00 or more per gallon because of the specific retail chain you buy from...that's your own fault.
I knew you wouldn't answer honestly so I will. Profit margin on a gallon of milk is around 39% Profit margin on a gallon of water can be anywhere from 50% up to 200% depending on the brand you buy. Profit margin on a gallon of regular gasoline is around 7% I buy gas from Kroger and with current prices and my discount its $2.85/gallon.
Diesel SHOULD be cheaper. It is less refined than Gasoline.
You can take crude oil... heat it and Diesel will "come out" of the sludge all on it's own. Watch the truckers who keep this nation in motion stop dead in their tracks.
I know supply and demand... but no deliveries will make fuel even more expensive.
No word yet... from any media... but $6.00/ Gallon for Diesel means truckers will have to pay extra money for the privilege of delivering fuel and good. As in they will actually pay out of pocket for each mile versus make money for each mile.
Also, understand that loads often have pre-negotiated pricing. Added fuel costs aren't figured in that price.
