Sitchen was not a liar. If you actually looked at the evidence instead of just reading stupid Internet blogs then you wouldn't embarass yourself so badly.

The Sumerian translations are huge. The transcripts aren't just a couple of scrolls. We're talking about thousands and thousands of documents. The story is too long to be manipulated.

The worst they can throw at sitchen how he chose to translate a word here and there. But no living man could have manipulated the Epichs. After all, there are many translators. Not just sitchen.

The story remains the same. Other translators have vetted it. They were only capable of changing the occasional word here or there but that did not change the vast details of history.  For all intents and purposes, sitchen was 100% correct. He even predicted astronomical discoveries long before NASA. And all he used were Sumerian scrolls.

100% of the bulk of the work covered by Sitchin is work done by other authors and it has been challenged many, many times, and no, it has not been disproven or contested.

Sitchins analysis doesn't ever defer from the academically accepted translations, he merely surmises different ways those words can be interpreted based on his understanding of several other languages.

I'd really like to read the "real" version.  Too many people are confused about this issue and it sounds like you might know the real deal.

I'm not satisfied with people pointing out that he mistranslated a word or symbol.  Anyone who is really concerned about Sitchin misleading others and trying to make a profit should have (at least by now) done a "correct" translation of the story.
