[quote:ArmchairObserver:MV8yMDExNjE2XzMzODE2ODU2XzhGRjRDMkRD] I hear a lot of higher pitch tones, including one that pulses and changing tones. It was getting pretty bad for a bit and traced one of the sounds to a newly installed smart meter on my house. Electricity company sent out a couple of repairmen to test my unit. They actually shut off the unit and then had their hq ping it to test if that was indeed what I was hearing. Sure enough, I was hearing the smart meter wifi. They replaced the meter and now I jsut hear the din of all the neighborhood's smart meters going off at around 5 pm every night while they are all transmitting. According to the guys from the electricity company, people that hear this frequency aren't very common but they do exist. If your health checks out okay, then welcome to the mutant club, lol. :) [/quote]

I have read a post by a similar individual. About two weeks ago, I am getting a very difficult to describe high frequency pitch in my head. It's not tinnitus or anything of the sort. Nor is their anything wrong with my hearing and I have no problems with balance or dizziness or anything of the sort. It is the same thing, but it reminds me a bit of when the TV comes on and says 'this is the emergency broadcast station, this is a test'. It isn't the same thing but rather sounds like the noise you would hear on a quiet evening outside, like crickets but one constant pitch.
It will stop occassionally, but has been more persistent as the days have come by. It is there when I am in my house, car, outside, anywhere. It isn't painful, but somewhat cumbersome.
Any thoughts are appreciated. Thank you.
