YESTERDAY THE BRASS AT ABC NEWS ISSUED ORDERS FORBIDING REPORTERS TO WEAR LAPEL PIN OF AMERICAN FLAGS OR OTHER PATRIOTIC INSIGNIA. THEIR REASONING WAS THAT ABC SHOULD REMAIN NEUTRAL ABOUT 'CAUSES'.

SINCE WHEN IS PATRIOTISM TO BE DISCOURAGED?
